Melanie grew up in Las Vegas but has been living in San Diego long enough for it to be home. She is a third-year undergraduate majoring in Chemistry and Theatre. This is her first research experience, and she is really excited to learn as much as she can from being a part of this group. In her free time, she loves to go biking along the beach some days and play rounds and rounds of board games on other days.
