Hi! I’m Ryan Goodman and I am a sophomore at San Diego State University. I am majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. Some of my interests include surfing, skating, and hiking with friends and family. My passion for chemistry has been evident since high school, and I was thrilled to pursue it through Dr. Gu’s lab and her work with renewable energy. I plan to exercise the knowledge I learn in the Gu lab in my pursuit of medicine, specifically radiology. Exposure to fascinating equipment, such as ALD, SEM, and NMR, have sparked my interest in their applications, and I hope to understand and learn how to operate them during my time in the Gu lab.
